Step 1 - One of the first decisions you need to make after choosing to study abroad is to determine what study interests will lead you towards the career you've been dreaming about. FEAF will help with all your questions about course choice and when you've registered, our helpful counsellors will advise you on what might be the best course for you. Remember, it's free to use FEAF and all our experience and advice is available to you at no cost!

 

Step 2 - Filling in our quick and easy lifestyle questionnaire will help you to figure out what is important to you about your location and institution in Australia. Our intelligent matching system will then give you a number of options to consider based on your answers. This will make your choices much easier as FEAF will narrow down the choices and only give you those that are perfect for your needs.

How to Apply -FAQ

  1. What documents to I need to send?

    In order to ensure that your application is completed as quickly as possible, we will require supporting documentation, which can be emailed or posted to us. (NOTE: Document upload feature will be made available in the next release version) Typical examples of supporting documentation are:

    • Certified copies of IELTS, TOEFL or English language assessment
    • Certified copies of academic results
    • Certified copies of passport (compulsory)
    • Any other relevant documents such as letters from schools or employers
  2. All applications must be accompanied by the specific documentation which has been certified by either the educational institution from which it comes, or a qualified document certifier, such as a Notary Public or Justice of the Peace.Your documents must be translated into English if the original documents are in a non-English speaking language.

     

  3. What happens to my application?
  4. Your completed application will be sent to our partner institutions and you'll receive an official letter of offer if you meet the requirements for the course. Once your application has been assessed, you will be notified of the results.

    Please remember that it could be at least a few weeks before your application is assessed and a letter of offer is made to you. Don't worry, this is normal. If the institution feels you're a suitable candidate for the course, you'll receive a letter of provisional acceptance into your course, including information about tuition fees. If you don't make it, don't panic, our FEAF advisors will provide you with alternative study options.

     

  5. How do I accept my offer?
  6. Getting your offer is an amazing feeling and it's exciting to realise you're about to start your study journey in Australia. When you receive your offer, please read carefully any conditions and obligations you are required to fulfill before you accept your offer officially. In some cases, a pre-visa assessment by Australian authorities will be required and specific application or tuition fees may need to be paid to the institution. If you have any questions speak to our of our FEAF advisors who will be happy to help.

     

  7. Will I be told when I've enrolled in my course?
  8. Yes, you'll normally be receive an electronic notification of your enrolment. It will most likely outline any requirements you have to carry out, including looking into overseas student health cover. You'll also receive a receipt of your payment of fees if you've paid them.

     

  9. Do I need to apply for a Visa?
  10. t is essential that you apply for your visa well in advance of arriving in Australia. Once you've received your confirmation of enrollment, our accredited Migration Agents can assist you with the required information to obtain your visa. Cover must be paid for prior to arriving in Australia.

     

  11. When do I apply for accommodation?
  12. Now you know you're definitely coming to Australia to study, it's time to get your accommodation arranged. We have a number of highly recommended accommodation and relocation specialists who will assist you with your student accommodation needs. We have accommodation options to suit every budget and can even arrange somewhere for your family to stay when they visit!
